Pursuing a dream, also has a process that must take place before that dream is fulfilled. To write a best selling novel, takes meeting daily and weekly writing goals consistently for an extended period of time until that first draft is complete. Then there is the editing process to ensure that manuscript becomes ready for print. The dream doesn't happen overnight. Or else it wouldn't feel much like an achievement.
There has to be a process in place, that takes the dream from idea, to small but consistent progress made over a period of time, before we see the fulfillment of our plans. In the meantime, we have to do something that may test our patience and that's trusting the process. Trust the plans that we've wisely put together and be present in the middle stage. That can be a difficult thing to do, especially in this gotta-have-it-now society we live in. But its critical that we have the discipline it takes to show up, day in day out, with faith in the process of achieving the dream.
