But rather than freak out by the idea of how fast time seems to move, the older I get, this is also a great time to assess my journey thus far. What did I set out to accomplish as the year began, and how far I've come since that time. This is a good time to assess if some of those goals were realistic, or if the adjustments I made along the way were necessary.
Yes - we're at the halfway month of what still seemed like a new year just a couple of weeks ago. So now that we've admitted the obvious, the next and much more important question is - what are we going to do about it now? How do we move forward with making 2016 the year of bold and daring visions we marked it to be in December/January?
Take inventory of your goals, the highs, lows and everything in between. What lessons did you learn along the way? And if it's time to narrow your focus to achieve a certain objective, and let other action steps go, then now is the time to decide on what stays and what goes. And move forward with a renewed sense of purpose.
